Job Description

With multiple sites throughout the state, Help, Inc. provides residential and non-residential mental health and substance abuse treatment, support, and skill development to improve our clients’ quality of life.

This position may require some rotating shifts and weekends.  EOE.

Job Duties:

  • Facilitate employment groups for clients on job search and retention techniques
  • Assist in providing the individualized services required by each client, such as assisting clients with drafting a resume, completing applications, using the computer, identifying strengths, obtaining identification, accessing or providing transportation, practicing interview skills,  and maintaining employment.
  • Assist clients in completing the vocational assessment
  • Provide linkages to community providers and develop relationships with local employers
  • Educate and assist clients with community reintegration and accessing vocational supports and educational opportunities
  • Network to develop and expand more resources for clients

Job Requirements

Minimum Qualifications:

  • Valid CT Driver’s License

An Associate’s Degree in Human Services is preferred or High School Diploma and 2 years relevant work experience
