Maintenance Coordinator

With multiple sites throughout the state; Help, Inc. provides residential and non-residential mental health and substance abuse treatment, support and skill development to improve our clients’ quality of life.

Job Duties

  • Accountable for the ongoing maintenance and upcoming facility projects at the agency programs
  • Demonstrate self-motivation to undertake required repairs as needed
  • Relate professionally to area contractors as needed
  • Maintain a regular schedule of tasks and chores to be accomplished at regular intervals
  • Oversee and participate in the general upkeep and maintenance of the facilities, its grounds and out-buildings
  • Knowledge of and the ability to perform hands-on general maintenance work
  • Minor plumbing, basic carpentry, minor painting and lawn maintenance required

  • Outstanding organizational ability, excellent communication skills (written and oral)

Minimum Qualifications:

  • Valid CT Driver’s License
  • Plumbing, carpentry, heating, electrical contracting, or reconstruction
  • Experience in maintaining a facility in good repair and working order through accurate assessment of needs, timely addressing of needs (or referring needs to other contractors), consistent maintenance of a facility and its systems in working order
