3.1 Confidentiality Warning

CNV Help, Inc. respects the privacy of every individual who visits our websites and online areas. CNV Help, Inc. strives to ensure confidentiality in e-mail communication concerning community services. Nevertheless, absent the use of encryption, the Internet is not a secure medium and privacy cannot be ensured. Internet e-mail is vulnerable to interception and forging. CNV Help, Inc. will not be responsible for any damages you or any third party may suffer as a result of the transmission of confidential information that you make to CNV Help, Inc., or that you expressly or implicitly authorize CNV Help, Inc. to make, or for any errors or any changes made to any transmitted information.

CNV Help, Inc. does not use "cookies" or other tracking devices to gather data on Internet users. It does measure site visits but does not collect or maintain information on the identity of such users.

3.2 Submissions

All information submitted by organizations about their services to CNV Help, Inc. via shall be deemed and remain the property of CNV Help, Inc.. CNV Help, Inc. shall be free to use, for any purpose, any ideas, concepts, know-how or other techniques contained in information provided to CNV Help, Inc. through the Site or sent through e-mail or gathered via phone or mail. 3.3 Information Collection/Communications from the Sites

CNV Help, Inc. collects information from our users at several different points on our Web site. We use this information to contact the user about services on our site for which he has expressed interest. It is optional for the user to provide demographic information (such as age and gender), and unique identifiers (such as, username and password), but encouraged so we can provide a more personalized experience on our site. If a user wishes to subscribe to any CNV Help, Inc. newsletters, CNV Help, Inc. asks for contact information such as name and email address. 3.4 Order

CNV Help, Inc. request information from the user on our order form. A user must provide contact information (such as name, email, and shipping address) and financial information (such as credit card number, expiration date). This information is used for billing purposes and to fill customer's orders. If CNV Help, Inc. has trouble processing an order, the information is used to contact the user.

3.5 Log Files

Like most standard Web site servers CNV Help, Inc. uses log files. This includes internet protocol (IP) addresses, browser type, internet service provider (ISP), referring/exit pages, platform type, date/time stamp, and number of clicks to analyze trends, administer the site, track user's movement in the aggregate, and gather broad demographic information for aggregate use. IP addresses, etc. are not linked to personally identifiable information. CNV Help, Inc. uses a tracking utility that uses log files to analyze user movement.

3.6 Sharing

Though we make every effort to preserve user privacy, we may need to disclose personal information when required by law wherein we have a good-faith belief that such action is necessary to comply with a current judicial proceeding, a court order or legal process served on our Web site.

3.7 Choice/Opt-out

Users who no longer wish to receive CNV Help, Inc. newsletters and promotional communications may opt-out of receiving these communications by emailing CNV Help, Inc. at info@cnvhelp.org.

3.8 Surveys [& Contests]

From time-to-time CNV Help, Inc. site requests information from users via surveys or contests. Participation in these surveys or contests is completely voluntary and the user therefore has a choice whether or not to disclose this information. The requested information typically includes contact information (such as name and shipping address), and demographic information (such as zip code). CNV Help, Inc. does not warrant or make any representations regarding the use of the results of the use of the materials on this site or in third party sites in terms of their correctness, accuracy, timeliness reliability or otherwise. You, and not CNV Help, Inc., assume the entire cost of all necessary maintenance, repair or correction stemming from the use of this site.

4.2 Computer Viruses

While every effort is made to ensure that all information provided on the Site does not contain computer viruses, you should take reasonable and appropriate precautions to scan for computer viruses and should ensure that you have a complete and current backup of the applicable items or information contained on your computer system. You should pay specific attention to some of the newer viruses that have been written to automatically execute when an infected word processing document is loaded into certain word processing programs.

 

5. Governance Of Agreement

This agreement shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the State of Connecticut without giving effect to any principles of conflicts of law. Jurisdiction shall be remanded to the appropriate State of Connecticut Court as necessary. If any provision of this agreement shall be unlawful, void, or for any reason unenforceable then that provision shall be deemed severed from this agreement and shall not affect the validity and enforceability of any remaining provisions.
