Update: The 2019 Narcan (Naloxone) Training Schedule has been updated through June and is attached below. Trainings are conducted by HVCASA (Housatonic Valley Coalition Against Substance Abuse) and AMR (American Medical Response), are open to the public, and you can RSVP by emailing CNVRAC1@famintervention.com.
Trainings include risk factors & prevention strategies, signs & symptoms of overdose, how to administer naloxone, Good Samaritan Law, and treatment/support resources. Friends and family, professionals, and volunteers across Western CT can all save lives. Kits may also be available for persons in need.
