CLIENT ACCESS SPECIALIST- (Front Desk for Adult Behavioral Health Outpatient Program)

 

SUMMARY

The Client Access Specialist is an integral part of Helps continuum of care and is a member of a multi-disciplinary treatment team. The Client Access Specialist works with clients from their initial point of contact with the Agency through to their initial outpatient evaluation to ensure a smooth and seamless entry into Outpatient treatment.

 

Fulltime/Non-Exempt -40 Hours/week

 

Monday to Friday with varying shifts

 

$16.48/Hour or $34,280 annually

 

QUALIFICATIONS

*High School Diploma and 2 years of experience in related field or demonstrated skills,

*Valid CT Driver’s License (Required)

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Screening/triage of potential clients in AURA

 

  • Scheduling appointments, verifying insurance coverage.
  • Answering phones, directing and transferring calls between all 3 outpatient programs.
  • Provide information about agency programs/services as well as connections to treatment resources in the area.
  • Process/routes daily US and interoffice mail.
  • Performs a variety of office, administrative, and support duties, including scanning documents to clients’ electronic health records.
  • Engage in ongoing professional development through training.
