Peer Support Specialist for Adult Outpatient Program

The Peer Support Specialist is accountable for providing recovery oriented support services, providing a warm and welcoming atmosphere, offering support to clients throughout treatment and following discharge, initiating client recruitment, client engagement and re-engagement and client retention, and sharing resources for community-based recreation, food, clothing and shelter with program clients.
Fulltime position – 40 hours per week – Monday to Friday
$16.34/hour for a total of $34,000 annually
Qualifications
*Valid CT Driver’s License (Required)
* a Certificate in Recovery Coaching or the DARC program is preferred or High School Diploma and 2 years relevant work experience (Required)
