Program Monitor (Full-Time) – Torrington

Position:         Program Monitor

Program:        Wynnewood Residential Services, Torrington

Reports to:     Program Director

Fulltime/Non-Exempt -40 Hours/week

SUMMARY

The Program Monitor is an integral part of the residential team. The Program Monitor ensures the safety and security of the clients overnight. The Program Monitor assists clients in meeting their needs as they arise on shift. The Program Monitor is responsible for upkeep and cleanliness of the facility.  The Program Monitor takes direction from the Program Director and Clinical Supervisor.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

      ·       Maintains accurate and timely entries into the clients individualized records, as needed and warranted.

      ·       Ability to be awake, alert, and responsive to client needs on all shifts.

      ·       Assurance of the safety, security, and soundness of the program’s facility/building and belongings.

      ·       Work individually with clients on the development of activities of daily living skills.

      ·       Document services provided in an accurate and timely fashion

      ·       Act in an ethical and responsible manner in all work related to clients

      ·       Auditing and monitoring of medication records.

      ·       Continue education and trainings to enhance knowledge and skills.

QUALIFICATIONS

Valid CT Driver’s License, High School Diploma or equivalent

SKILLS REQUIRED

Work independently when needed but always as a part of the residential team.  Must possess and demonstrate a high level of computer knowledge, including but not limited to AURA, Microsoft Office Suite and Outlook Express.  The position requires an excellent documentation skills, the ability to listen and communicate with clients in a professional, respectful, and caring way.
