SUMMARY

The Therapist is an integral part of Helps continuum of care and is a member of a multi-disciplinary treatment team. The Therapist works with clients from their initial point of contact through the clients discharge from the program.

Full Time Position – 40 hours per week – Monday to Friday

Qualifications

*Valid CT Driver’s License (Required)

*LPC, LCSW, or LMFT, Master’s Degree in Psychology, Sociology, Social Work, or related field is preferred; Or Master’s Degree in Psychology, Sociology, Social Work, or related field, at least two years of experience in the provision of behavioral health services and is actively pursuing a DPH professional license in a behavioral health discipline.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

• Facilitate individual, group and family sessions
• Maintain a caseload
• Assist clients with evaluating their skills, assets and needs through the completion of an assessment tool utilized by the program for each client

Other duties as assigned by the Director of Outpatient Services
